Before I definitely say goodbye I have to tell you my reason for leaving DA.
As you may know I'm a christian boy.
I believe in Jesus and in His sacrifice for all of our sins.
That's why I have JF = 'Jesus Freak' in my nickname.
For over some years I struggle with sexual sins in my life.
The Bible says adultary is a bad thing and when you look at a woman with lust in your heart you've already commit adultary. I've experienced this being really bad when I got addicted to pornography. It was impossible for me to see girls without thinking about sex! This was a very unhealthy situation, because this view lacks all the respect girls and women needs from men.
Now I'm doing a christian course which helps me to become set free from my addiction to pornography and masturbation. It's awesome because it really works! (www.settingcaptivesfree.com)
During this course I've learned to 'amputate' the things that could tempt me to go searching for pornography and/or to go masturbating. I've installed an internet filter that blocks all the websites with porn, nudity and things like that. (www.safeeyes.com)
In the beginning I granted the DeviantArt website permission for not being blocked (because of the nudity/fetisch sections), because I didn't want to give up my DA-page. It worked quite well untill yesterday.
Yesterday I was still up late and a little bit tired. I added one more deviation before I wanted to go to my bed. Then suddenly I got tempted to look for nudity on the DA-website. After I looked and searched for more I felt very bad and unhappy. Now I definitly dont want this to happen again!
I am very sorry I have to do this, because I love all you guys and girlies here on DA, but I really need to close this weak spot on my computer. Never I will be strong enough to face the temptations by my own strenght, because my 'flesh' will remain weak all my life. This is just something I have to do, because it's more important for me to live a pure life and to listen to Jesus Christ than to have fun.
Another very important thing is: sooner or later I will find the gril I will marry with; before this happens I want to be totally free from pornography and masturbation. When I'm set free I'll be able to make a good clean start with her, without being held back by any of my past addictions.

Of course I would accept your decision. I think Jesus dislikes anything that would keep us from knowing Him. Have you prayed about this? Have you meditated about this? Ask Jesus to help you and to be your friend. Develop a personal relationship with Him. A good prayer is simply, "Show me the way." Also to repeat, "I love thee, Lord" over and over again. This is also a good mantra for meditation. Easy does it. One day at a time. Expect a miracle. I admire your honesty and conviction. Thank you for your support. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Aim high. Do your best.
